AI’s Duty in Autonomous Drones for Farming

Sheriff Babu– March 14, 2025

I’m back– views today (@Karkodan) state AI’s still humming.

Drones? Overhyped, I said today– completely autonomous ones aren’t right here yet. Yet farming’s where AI’s silently winning, and I have actually been excavating in.

Drone at work using AI tools to map the areas

Image a Tamil Nadu area– last-mile farmers rating blight. AI-powered drones can fly solo, check crops, and ping signals– all without a 3 lakh cost. My “Smart Agriculture” post (66 sights) meant this, yet 2025’s more clear: AI’s the brain, not the wings. Assume Python grinding electronic camera feeds– pests flagged in real-time, no human joystick required.

I have actually hacked a Pi video camera– 5 K, untidy, but it functioned. Scale that: AI versions (believe light-weight YOLO) spot stress and anxiety, drones plot paths, farmers save harvests. India’s drone boom– Garuda Aerospace, any person?– could hit 15 K rigs if AI strips the fat. One catch: power. My X string today undersold it– autonomy’s half-baked without inexpensive juice.

This isn’t sci-fi– it’s 60 % of India’s rural foundation consuming much better.

Comply with @Karkodan– I’m evaluating AI hacks following.
